As soon as a child turns two, it’s time to visit the dentist for an oral health assessment. Here at MBM we understand it can we a scary and traumatic time for little ones. We happily take the care and time needed to make this easier for both child and parents. Taking the stress out of the visit for everyone involved ensuring the next visit is a smooth and comfortable one for all. By bring your child in before any treatment is needed, for a general check-up can help build trust between your child and the dentist, so if and when treatment is needed it can be completed in the chair without need for any extra assistants in the form of sedation, saving both money and stress for the parents. We provide all form of children’s dentistry from cleans, caps, jaw expanders and braces. For those eligible under the Child Dental Benefits scheme we can claim directly though Medicare meaning you are not out of pocket, if you are unsure as to whether you are entitled to this scheme please call our office with your Medicare card and we can easily check for you.

CHILD DENTAL BENEFIT SCHEDULE (cdbs)

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is a dental program that provides eligible children and teenagers aged 2 to 17 with up to $1000 of dental treatment over two consecutive calendar years. Under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, we are able to bulk bill eligible patients for a variety of services including Examinations, X-Rays, Dental Cleaning, Preventative Services, Fillings, Root Therapy and Extractions. Many of these services have claiming restrictions. Services can be provided in a public or private setting. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital. In order for us to bulk bill your child under this Scheme your Medicare card number will need to be provided at time of booking.
